What you need to know about the Ekka

The Ekka is short for “Exhibition” and every year Brisbane hold one big party. So if your a visitor and looking for something local with that Aussie flavor, you can’t go past the Ekka.

WHEN:  August 11-20

WHERE: RNA Showgrounds, Bowen Hills

TIMES: Gates open 9am and close 9pm daily. Some attractions finish earlier.  Ekka IgNITES starts at 6pm each night from August 12 in the Energex Community Arena.

TICKETS (one day): Adult $25, concession $19, child (5-14 years) $15, Family A (two adults, two children) $60, Family B (one adult, one child) $35.

PACKAGES: Single Ride Deal (one day + 55 x $1 coupons) $67, Family Ride Deal (two adults, two children + 55 x $1 coupons) $105.
