Hit stage show STOMP is taking audiences by storm at Jupiters on the Gold Coast.

And, as far as the cast of the rhythmic, rock’n’roll dance show is concerned, the feeling is mutual.

Canadian Troy Sexton, whose home city Toronto rarely sees summers as warm as a Queensland winter, said it was great to spend three months on the Gold Coast.

“I love it here, it’s awesome,” he said.

STOMP takes the junk of everyday life – bin lids, tubs, and even the kitchen sink – and transforms them into an unsuspecting orchestra that produces thumping, exhilarating percussion.

The show has toured the world for almost twenty years, thrilling audiences in more than fifty countries.

WHERE: Jupiters Theatre, Jupiters Casino, Gold Coast

WHEN: Until August 14.

COST: $69, special dinner and show packages available
